Do'in It Moggy Style

We are a Couple in our early 50s that love camping, fishing, archery, our dog Toppa and our MOG. We would really love it if you would join us on our adventures.

Bridget and I (Mike) are a mid-50s couple who have decided that life should be more than a mortgage, working 8 til 5 and with the cost of things a weekly struggle to survive. We have come to the realisation that we have done a fantastic job bringing three awesome kids into the world and now that they are fending for themselves, we are going to change things up a bit. Our goal is to hit the road and see as much of our incredible country as we can.

Litchfield National Park Green Ant Hill. 25 min walk through the bush to get to the top waterfall and pool just brilliant. Massive drop below. We do have some video footage of the walk we will put up when we have a chance.

After an eye opening visit to the Darwin military museum it was off for a bite to eat at the Darwin trailer boat club. Priced well, Great menu, Yummy food even had some awesome vegan options, Mrs Moggy Was happy. Topped off with an awesome view.

O.K Mrs Moggy style has been by the pool spa havin a tequila (loves her a tequila) And a pale ale. (Don’t worry plastic cup) Now need to fang out on burger rings and a vodka cruiser chaser. Aaahhhhhh. Will be back at pool in a few hours for a chance at chase the ace River Tavern.

A day before our arrival to our destination for a few weeks is Adelaide River Show Society not bad for $20 a night, nice shower to be had, well a dam cold one and a few bevy’s to be had because I tell ya the weather has drained the energy she is a bit sticky. At least Mike still has his eye’s open in this shot.

Managed to get Mike to do the leliyn walk trail 2.6 k to get to Edith falls (I will put that footage up later). Took us about 1hr 45 mins with stops in between over some rocks and up some steps managed to get my short legs up the taller ones. I felt very invigorated after the walk Mike not so much but he did it. Some nice views along the way with the treat of the falls to top it off.

Manbulloo Northern Territory great little spot to set up for a few days, do a few tourist spots the typical hot springs and Edith falls might get in a kayak of the gorge depending on time and how fit Mike feels.

7.7.24 Had the best meal over camp fire. Hey it was cold so tin food it was.

7.7.24 Our second night into out trip stayed at Meekatharra boulders. Just a short drive in off great Northan Hwy . Not a bad spot for the night. Had a great sleep as little road noise.#traveling#westernaustralia#unimog.
