🦋EP #2 ‘Blue Heaven’ by is out through on October 8!!🦋

The Blue Heaven EP was written and recorded between tracking sessions for Thomas’ upcoming debut album. While that release will feature his live band on all tracks, Blue Heaven is a true solo project and an idiosyncratic one at that. Largely recorded during and following his honeymoon in late 2023 and early 2024, Thomas’ sophomore EP is a collection of immediate, unconventionally recorded songs that were largely produced across bedrooms and hotel rooms. The tracks pull from various genre playbooks, ranging from alt-country and dream pop to all-out rock and roll, with Tom’s wife Andie Bernadette, sister-in-law Sophia Abad and father Greg Cockram providing backing vocals on most tracks.

Though the EP was recorded using programmed drums, midi keyboards and a 4-input interface, its launch will see these solitary compositions reinterpreted by Thomas’ live band in their debut performance. Featuring Tom Beech on electric and slide guitar (The Bures Band, Clove) Jarrah Duckett on bass (Turtle Bay), Rory Lowe-McLoughlin on drums (Finn Alexander and the Forever Party, The Psychotic Reactions, Turtle Bay) and Sophia Abad on backing vocals, the Blue Heaven launch on October 19th at the Bird will be a must-see event. Support comes from fellow country / indie rock tightrope walkers Lonesome Dove (duo) and Finn Pearson Band. Tickets are $15 on the door from 3pm.
