Isn't it weird how you can experience situations throughout your life that are so heartbreaking or stresstul that you can't imagine ever being okay again. Then a few weeks, months or even years later, you notice that the days go by without you thinking about those times.

You laugh, you smile, you go about your day and realise that you're stronger and happier than you thought you ever could be again. Those bad times might always be in your mind, but you feel at peace with your past; and the memories that come back don't punch you in the heart like they used to.

You realise that you are, in fact, as strong as everyone was saying you were at the time, and that you would in fact get through what you went through. Isn't it amazing how much we can change, how much we can learn, and how much we can grow.

She was chosen from 600,000 children around the world to create a piece of art to show what peace looks like.

She is the winner of the international Plakat Miru competition.

Today I'm excited to introduce you to the amazing Kelly Hurd! 🤩👏👏

A very inspirational lady who has turned her life around, from burnt out Teacher to becoming a successful Health and Wellness Coach.

Kelly is now making a difference to many lives and living her best life travelling the world!

“I miss the feeling of having a classroom that becomes like a second family, but I still get into schools to present PD on attaining better scores, less absenteeism and more student buy-on through wellness, stress and happiness strategies, so that’s wonderful.

A happy teacher makes for happier, higher achieving students. It’s possible that I actually might impact more students in this career by helping teachers feel better!

Whether I am back in New England or on the road, I continue to work on myself, my health and happiness by prioritizing relationships, eating well about 80% of the time, staying consistent with my morning routine, walking and reading a lot, and always searching for local art, the best coffee, theater, museums or live music. I am trying to make the most of my days and loving my new life. “

Calling all parents and Educators!

What started as a fringe video gaming technology has emerged as a potential game-changer for life and business, and children are at the frontier of bringing this tech into mass adoption, both as consumers and as creators.

There is now a growing body of evidence showing that immersive experiences enhance education in so many ways. A game-changer!

Love this analogy.

Some people come and go in your life. They might stay for a short time.

I’m grateful for all of the leaf and branch people because they have shaped who I am today.

There is always a lesson to be learned.

THE 3 TYPES OF PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE!

1. The Leaf People
2. The Branch People
3. The Root People

LEAF PEOPLE: These are people who come into your life just for a season. You can't depend on them because they are weak. They only come to take what they want, but if the wind comes they will leave.
You need to be careful of these people because they love you when things are okay, but when the wind comes they will leave you.

BRANCH PEOPLE: They are strong, but you need to be careful with them too. They break away when life becomes tough and they can't handle too much weight. They may stay with you in some seasons, but they will go when it becomes harder.

ROOT PEOPLE: These people are very important because they don't do things to be seen. They are supportive even if you go through a difficult time they will water you and they are not moved by your position they just love you like that.

It's not all people you meet or are your friends, that will stay with you. Only the root type of people will stay no matter the season!

I chose the name Empowered Edu Academy because it conveys a sense of empowerment and education.

The word "Edu" is a shortened form of "education," which reinforces the idea that this platform is all about providing a high-quality, immersive educational experience for kids.
