Love…

As an INFJ who also holds an abandonment core belief, love has been a profoundly deep feeling for me throughout my entire life, sometimes wonderful and sometimes not so much.

I fall in love with people who show me kindness, and I fall fast. It’s strange, but that’s just who I am.

It’s a constant journey of inner work. Since being introduced to schema therapy, I’ve pinpointed seven schemas and learned to identify, challenge, and refrain from reacting when they are triggered. Don’t get me wrong..I still get triggered from time to time. However, I’ve done the shadow work, and now I can recognize when my unconscious mind is driving my conscious mind.

Being an INFJ means I feel all of this even more deeply..all the emotions.

Even though I have some maladaptive schemas, I wouldn’t change a thing. They have made me the person I am now..insightful, caring, respectful, kind, and compassionate. At my core, my nature is love, and I want to share this infinite love with people who don’t have it.

Thank you for being part of my journey. ♥️

A dream come true!
I just officially select my units I will be studying next year! At The University of Western Australia for a bachelor of social work (honours).
I just enrolled in 8 units for the 2 semesters for 2025!
6 units of social work core units and 2 psychology elective units.
Bring it on! We can all achieve in this life what we want, is never too late! ♥️😀🙏🥹🥹

Grief and Growth

Joy rises, warm like morning sun,
Yet shadows linger from days undone.
I grieve for time I couldn’t hold,
For dreams that slipped as I grew old.

But now, alive, I breathe it all,
The rise, the fall, the missed, the small.
In every tear, a tender spark…
I lost so much, but found my heart.

El alma llora la soledad la cual siente,
Aún rodeada de multitudes, se siente extraña, se siente diferente.
Se pregunta, qué es la vida?
Porque no podemos ser uno?
Si somos de la misma pluma, sin preguntarse más, siente la soledad que el mundo crea.
El alma siente ese vacío interno, esa bóveda fría y turbia, esa bóveda de granita.
Dentro de esa melancolía, el alma crea.
El alma brinda su propia alegría, y el calor que la vida misma construye la cual es infinita.
El alma cruza todas las experiencias y disfruta y recorre cada paso interno, por más solo que sea, tu alma te abraza y te completa, ya llegaste y te adoro por encima del todo.

Tomorrow is a big day in the mental health calendar, and it is particularly close to home.

It’s Blue Knot Day. 💙 Blue Knot Foundation

As a CPTSD survivor, I just want to share that recovery is possible. I don’t want to share my past, because that doesn’t define me.

I want to share hope. I want to share that there is post-traumatic growth. I want to tell you that it is possible to overcome your worst nightmares.

I’m so freaking proud of myself, and I truly believe that the wounded are the best healers. This is why I will become a social worker and a psychotherapist specialising in NARM therapy in the future, to continue helping myself and to be there for others on their healing journey.

I love you all. 💙 Life is one, let’s enjoy it!

This is why people is so afraid to face their own demons, you get comfortable in being the person you are, even if is not working for you.
Why? Because that how the human being is, we are creatures of habit.

Beyond Bars : Alternative to youth incarceration.

Here’s the real yarn on what we need to fix as a community in WA. It’s on all of us to call out inhumane conditions and fight for the future of our kids, we need our voices heard, and we’ve gotta keep the pressure on the government. Policymakers need to be educated, and we’ve gotta school the outdated systems running the show. Toxic bureaucrats who drag the system down like cancer? They’ve gotta go.
The focus needs to shift to real education, and the media should be sharing more positive stories. We need serious investment in diversion programs, but that starts with educating lawmakers first. Police and prison guards need proper training, racism and a lack of trauma awareness have no place here.
A safer community isn’t just about more cops; it’s about blending social and economic solutions.
The social contract is broken, there’s chaos in the system, and it’s time to fix it.
Collaboration is key, and we need to co-create systems that are smarter, kinder, and fairer.
Justice reinvestment is a must, and it only works if the community is actively involved every step of the way.
Enough is enough, we need to raise ✊

Getting jiggy with it isn’t just a phrase, it’s a mindset. 💃🕺😀😊🤪🤗😎🥳😅
Life becomes richer when we embrace all emotions, even the dark ones, seeing them as blessings. The trick is not to get stuck in them but to greet them with a curiosity, as if meeting a good old mate.

Each day offers a fresh start baby, a chance to rise, fall, make mistakes, and try again.
Let’s dance through the mess be silly, laugh at the chaos, and find joy in the imperfection. Embrace the impermanence like Buddha said.
When we choose to flow with life instead of resisting, we open ourselves to healing.

So I encourage you, let’s get jiggy with it, move with the rhythm of life, and trust that every step, even the missteps, is part of the dance. It’s working for me, and I know it can work for you too.
