Family Off-Road Travels was created through a necessity more than anything else. After two crazy scary separate situations with each of our daughters, we decided that enough was enough and it was time to start living this life we have been given. Thinking tomorrow is a sure thing is one thing we will never fall into the trap about again. On April 30 2019, Morgan, our youngest daughter at 4 years o

ld at the time was diagnosed with cancer. Fast forward to January 2022, and our eldest daughter Mahalia drowned in our backyard spa. Crazy hey....
After what seemed like forever giving her CPR, her heartbeat returned and from this day onwards, we as a family have never taken life for granted. This brings us to our decision to start traveling and enjoying what this beautiful country Australia has to offer. Lets bring it on......

So, whats this picture all about?

Well the truth of it all, its probably nothing like youre thinking.

This purple elephant was given to my Mum when she was sick 26 years ago. The elephants trunk raised up is meant to bring good luck and futune,

Ever since my Mum past away 26 years ago today, this elephant has travelled everywhere with me overseas.

I originally burried the elephant ontop of the tallest mountain of the ski resort i worked at in Canada, I just wanted Mum to have the best view of the world, but i couldnt leave her there all by herself.

So since that day, she has been a vitial part of every overseas trip I ever take. As we are currently over a year in of our Australia travels, she sits up front on the dash, so she doesn't miss anything.

Love ya Mum. I really hope your enjoying your Australian adventure. ❤️

Eyes on the prize

Driving around Australia and finding a wave to surf, is a completely different level of exploring.

Driving down roads that lead nowhere, bays that are completely not accessable, and let's not talk about if it's sharky or not shall we?

But when you do find that road that leads you to the promise land, it's like being let loose in a candy store with a fist full of $50's.
