About MRS
Mobile Recording Services started in February, 2020 by David Lockyer. David Lockyer has been a concert touring, studio engineer and performer for over 15 years. Having worked and performed in over 30 countries world wide with artists like Ed Sheeran, John Cale, Simple Minds, CHVRCHES, DeVo, at studios such as RAK studios, London and the BBC Maida Vale with Atlantic Records, Dave has extensive knowledge of how to produce artists in both a studio and live environment on a professional working level. MRS offer services from start to finish. We come to you with our 16 track simultaneous, 32bit 96khz recording system with equipment from brands such as Neumann, Sennheiser, Shure, AKG, Avalon and Eventide to make you sound as you should, like you do! We don’t come and produce you, we listen to your requests and serve where ever possible. We strive to offer you an honest representation of your performance. We don’t like to use too much digital time shift within performances as we believe people do not gain true experience from their recordings, especially within a band situation.
