We are so excited to have one of the legends of the .perth crew playing a liquid set for us! So influential in creating the thriving scene in Perth!!!

After getting a taste for the dance in the rave boom in Perth in the early 90s Dart discovered his love for all things Jungle and Drum&Bass via LTJ Bukem’s “Logical Progression” and hasn’t looked back. He joined the roster of RTRFM’s Rhythm Trippin show in the late 90s getting a taste for putting sets together and then in 1999 he was one of the founding members as both a DJ and promoter of ROLLER, running their weekly nights that ran from 1999 through 2008 and now annually at their annual epic EASTER party. Continuing his association with RTRFM he moved from the Rhythm Trippin show to the weekday afternoon Full Frequency show in 2002 and has been a weekly fixture there ever since. Over the years he’s supported countless international artists such as LTJ Bukem, Marcus Intalex, DJ Marky, Bryan Gee, S.P.Y., Makoto, Calibre and many more, on the decks he’s a fan of all the flavours but has a special love for the liquid side of drum & bass.

Heya Nezus Fam! Just over a week and a half to go until Liquid Ascension!! We thought we would introduce you to the guy who sent us one of the best liquid promo mixes we have recieved to date!

DJ MONK

Born and raised in the UK saw MONK first pick up a controller at the age of 13. Contrary to popular belief MONK did not gain his mixing skills in the monasteries of Tibet. However, he had been spotted spinning the deeper and minimal sounds of DNB high in the mountains of India and the beaches of Thailand. 2021 brought about MONK’s first Perth set and many more followed.

Hexpad is a DJ/producer with a deep passion for Bass House, Liquid Drum & Bass, and all things Broken Beat. With roots in the breakbeat scene of Fremantle at Phillimores Hotel, Deck Eclectic at the Wembley Hotel, and more recently part of the legendary Alliance Crew. Hexpads’ mischievous productions have led to support by DJs such as Choice, Dom FX, Vishnu and El Kymbo. But despite all the success and fanfare, Hexpad ultimately just wants you to get down to the sound of his funky beats.
