These are the people that make everything happen, from booking our acts, to organising the locations, getting computers, microphones, and cameras to set; edited our photos and footage, mixing our music and releasing our content. A few of the many steps they take to make Live on Local happen. A big moment of appreciation for the hard work of this amazing team, which has truly become a family 🧡

We are very excited to share our new extended trailer for season 1 of Live on Local.

Our mission was to celebrate local music and create an exciting, intimate view of our acts and we couldn't be happier with what we were able to achieve in such a small amount of time. Thank you to Dulcie Dwayne de Mello Music Little Guilt South Summit Humble Armada - we cannot wait for next year, where we hope to start season 2. Bring on 2023!

Live on Local would like to acknowledge and pay our respects to the traditional custodians of the land in which our production takes place, the Whadjuk people of the Noongar nation. This land was stolen and has never been ceded. We are grateful to be able to work, live and learn on their country. This always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.

Suprise! Finishing off season #1 is the one and only Humble Armada.

Humble Armada are an evolving alternative rock group based in Perth, WA. This release shows Humble Armada in their most indulgent and immersive light, leaping unapologetically through a maze of 60s rock cliches that balance between post- modernism and full-blown tribute. Now working towards the release of their second album, Humble Armada's newest single 'Ponder Around' just released on the 9th of December.

This week's feature artist is... Sixth Avenue!

Located in the northern suburbs of Perth, WA, Joel, Kenji, Cody and Daniel make up indie punk four piece 'Sixth Avenue'. Likened to acts such as 'Slowly Slowly' and 'Sly Withers', Sixth Avenue are part indie, part emo, a mix that has hit a nerve as audiences fall for their frenetic live show.

Since releasing their debut EP 'So Temperamental', the boys have kept busy playing consistent shows in and around Perth supporting punk legends ‘Yours Truly’, 'Late 90s' and ‘Pot Plant House Party’, also knocking off headline shows at the Indian Ocean Hotel, Amplifier Bar and Rosemount Hotel. In May 2022, the boys played an opening spot at the annual festival 'Sidefest', a three day event put on by manager and promoter Simon 'Skinny' O'Leary (Sly Withers, Old Mervs) feat uring nationally acclaimed artists Sly Withers, Ruby Fields, Beddy Rays and many more.

The band has just released a new single and music video for the track titled 'Sometimes I Get High, And Think About You’, produced by Matt Templeman (Birds of Tokyo, Sly Withers) and video directed by James Kilian (Shangrila, Idle Eyes). Previous singles ‘Lost’, 'Satellite' and 'You're Wasting Your Time' have received airplay on shows 'Home and Hosed' and 'short fast loud' on triple j, accrued a total of 30,000 streams on Spot ify and have reached a peak position of #3 on the triple j unearthed charts. The band is now currently gearing up for their sophomore EP release due early 2023, backed with a new live set on display, in which the final single, ‘Bleach’ is an explosive track with an infectious punk rock energy, paired by the intricate lyricism which has grown to become the band’s trademark.
