Today, our Criminal Defence Team received another successful decision from the Magistrates Court in Armadale. On the Trial Day, a case against a Persian Accused was discontinued and costs made in favour of our client. The case was successfully defended against a charge of indecent assault.

Prof Dr Janssen said: "Despite the massive pressures of a criminal proceeding, it is important to ensure that clients trust our team so that we can fight for them until the end."

Germany is part of the Schengen area, which means you can enter without a visa in some cases. In other situations, you'll need a visa.

Today marks the 74th anniversary of the commencement of the Korean War.

The Korean War began on the 25th of June 1950 when the North Korean Peoples’ Army launched a large-scale offensive across the 38th Parallel into South Korea. Over the next three years the war would rage the length and breadth of the Korean Peninsula and would cost over two million lives.

Twenty-one member nations of the United Nations, including Australia, sent combat or medical units to assist South Korea maintain its sovereignty.

Around 17,000 Australians served in Korea between 1950 and 1953, of which 340 were killed, over 1,500 wounded and 30 taken prisoner. A further 16 lost their lives during armistice enforcement operations.

Yesterday, the Australian War Memorial opened the refreshed Cold War Gallery, formerly known as Conflicts 1945 to Today.

Featuring the Korean War, Vietnam War, Malayan Emergency and Indonesian Confrontation, the gallery places each of these conflicts within the wider perspective of the Cold War.
