This is part of the final stage of my canopy build installation and a summary of the 12v wiring job and setup. I did unfortunately have a drama with the water tank connection which I was a bit embarrassed to talk about but here it is.

DIY FORD RANGER CANOPY AIR COMPRESSOR INSTALLATION ISSUE RESOLVED, Hot DCDC Charger cable install 🥵

Well we finally begin fitting the actual DIY Canopy build but not before I overcome the Air Compressor fitting issue (but easy to do). Last piece of this puzzle is installing and running the DCDC Charger cable from the front to the rear which was a tough one in the heat bu got it done!

Well this Canopy build hasn`t always gone to plan, one mistake cost 2 weeks, a second mistake stopped the build for another 3 weeks! A first time DIY canopy fitout is a big learning curve and hopefully this will save you some trouble 🤞

Have a update to share with everyone regarding the DIY Ranger Build, in this week's YouTube Video all the major cutting and carpeting has been done and it's all about the construction of the Ute/tub canopy Fitout.

There was a couple of measuring hiccups but managed to work through it. This is the last bit of the build before the 12v gear starts getting installed.

If you're busy like us and like the idea of buying quality tyres cheaper than retail, but then also with a discount and getting them fitted at home all from the comfort of your couch Tyroola are worth checking out!

As part of the Ranger Build we are doing it's been on the list to upgrade the wearing highway terrain tyres to the preferred all terrain that'll better suit our Off-roading needs.

Buying tyres and arranging fitting online was a new experience for us! I was able to do my own research, then jump on the tyroola website which makes it easy to find the options available. After narrowing it down to the tyre size there are which by the way ranges from budget to premium, I could check through the descriptions and feedback to make my choice.

There's no personal bias or motives just options and customer feedback to sort through if desired.

When you've selected tyres that you want you can choose whether to get them delivered to your house or to the fitters available. Fitters range from mobile to your house where don't even have to be home or being able to select a tyre fitting shop location that you like (there's plenty around Australia both metro and country). Tyre fitting is an extra cost but I found it was still much cheaper than any retail store pricing I could find.

Morning all, Here's some progress that I've made on the canopy build!

Fixed a couple of the boards together with the Inverter and control hub from iTechworld. Also have connected up a bit of the wiring to the control hub with just a few more things to connect up still.

Pretty mega job completed!

Not going to lie this has taken quite a bit of time to do but now means I can start installing these into the ranger (next rdo 😁)

As I've been putting alot of time into this I haven't been editing so won't have a video for this week.
