Fran - Threw It All Away

Started on a grand piano in Fran’s home studio and finished under the guidance of Slumberjack’s multifaceted Morgan Then; Threw It All Away is Fran’s first offering on Lab Six Records.

Opening with piano chords and a Kanye West inspired vocal that forms the song’s main motif, the track proceeds with snappy drums played in a 3⁄4 pattern and lead vocals giving the track a timeless feeling reminiscent of Portishead and Massive Attack.

Threw It All Away is a modern take on classic Trip Hop and thanks to some very clever production it is one track you definitely do not want to throw away.

Prepare to sweat with Haiines latest track 'Hot', our final release for 2021 on Lab Six Records!

As if HAiiNES predicted the great Perth Christmas heatwave of 2021, Hot was intended as a surprise track for her first headline set at Stripes Disco on Christmas Eve.

Unfortunately COVID had other plans and the show has been cancelled. But that’s not to say you can’t listen to Hot by the poolside!

Fingers crossed HAiiNES will be able to drop this melter of a track at her next headline show at Stripes Disco on NYD 2022.

HAiiNES will return with plenty more releases in 2022.
