Matthew 10:28 Jesus is in Capernaum and addressing the people there. He is telling them if they do not repent it would be worse for them on the day of judgement. Jesus in His love starts to pray to the Father praising Him for His good gracious will and good pleasure for all things have been entrusted and delivered to Jesus by His Father. He continues on and says that no one fully understands the Father or the Son only those He has chosen to understand and make Himself know. Thus He cries out with His compassion and love to all those listening asking them to come to Him

It's Monday. It's Quote day!

Matthew 26: 36–41

In the last moments of Jesus life. He went to pray in the garden of Gethsemane. His sorrow was great and He was worried for all those He was about to leave behind. When He finishes praying and finds the disciples sleeping He makes a comment about them sleeping when He asked them to watch out for Him. He knew their spirits were strong but worried their flesh was weak despite their willingness to do what He had asked of them. Jesus obedience was first and foremost to His father to fulfil His purpose and return to Heaven, and despite His sorrow He prayed ‘Never the less, not as I will, but as you will’.

Stumbling a bit today after hearing about Charlie Kirk. A beautiful young vibrant man filled with integrity and love of people and God. It's hard to try and understand why someone would want to take some one else's life. Especially when they live in a country that has freedom of speech like all Western societies across the planet. The person who has committed this crime has caused those who agree with what has happened to stumble just by believing it was a right thing to take another persons life. Its a sad day when a life is taken from a beautiful wife and mother of two small children. We must all think twice before making our thoughts and actions a tangible thing that is going to directly affect another person or persons. It's time to reflect on everything we say and do and to make sure we move forward watching what comes out of our mouth and how it is going to affect the next person. Hold your family close. Be blessed, and bless others as you go about your day.
