Our new rainbow supergraphic at the intersection of James and Lake streets in Northbridge isn't just paint – it's a symbol of pride and inclusivity for our LGBTQIA+ community! ️

It celebrates Northbridge as the heart and hub of the WA LGBTQIA+ community, with the iconic Northbridge Piazza being the main headquarters of Pride WA.

Next time you’re in Northbridge, take a moment and chase the rainbow!

This week is Aromantic Spectrum Awareness Week, a time to celebrate and support people who experience little to no romantic attraction, or who have a different relationship with romance than what society expects. Aromantic people are diverse and valid, and they deserve recognition and respect.

Aromanticism is not a lack of emotion, nor a sign of immaturity or coldness. It is a romantic orientation that describes how someone feels about romance, not their capacity for love or friendship. Aromantic people can still form meaningful bonds with others, and they can have different preferences and identities when it comes to their s*xuality, gender, and relationship style.

WAAC have introduced WA Sexual Health Week (SHW) which goes from 12 to 18 February 2024, and it’s all about “Absolutely Everybody”.
"This theme asks us to think creatively about how we can promote positive and respectful approaches to s*xuality and s*xual relationships while also creating supportive, inclusive, and safe spaces for everyone to achieve positive and enjoyable s*xual health."
