I was talking to a friend ages ago about why I like fishing and why I am so happy when I am out getting the line wet. I know fishing isn’t for everyone and for many of us it’s something we grow into and out of depending on the weather. But there is something about fishing that quiets my mind. Like everyone I have a million stresses running through my head at all hours if the day and night. But put that fishing rod in my hand and it all goes away. My mind goes quiet and then i am really happy. I don’t catch much and I keep less. But it’s bloody good when I do. Thanks to Chris for taking this photo. A rare moment of true happiness.
