J'aime le Paris 💖

With the olympics in 2024 being held in this city of revolution, resistance, and love, its a great reminder of my travels in Europe. There's one icon that is unapologetically the symbol of france and one of the world's most symbollic icon of Europe (and the west in general)

Paris by no means a perfect. It has its problems like inequality, prejudism, and more. This structure undeniably become one of the most iconic beacon of hope and triumph.

For me, it will always be the symbol of progress, excellene and achievement, triumphing it's perception sometimes as a symbol of mankind's arrogance. It's a privilege to have visited this. For that I'll always remember where I am from.

There's hundreds of years of history that those roofs and arches have witnessed. There's millions of souls and eyes it has witnessed. While it isn't the most sacred of all temples and altars, indeed it is the most historically active within the last century.

World wars have come and gone, the place have been torn apart and reunited. Time and time again, Berlin's Brandenburg Gate is certainly one of its most iconic attractions, akin to the gates and roadways towards the Buckingham palace.

May yesteryears remind us of a past that shall never be repeated, and may it be a hope and symbol for the people and the citizens it represents towards the future of Berlin, and Germany as a whole. What a sight to to behold!

Perched on the highlands of Lombok, known as Bali's little sister. This topography is quite out of this world.

This unassuming prairie is one of the majestic views you simply won't expect in a tropical archipelago.

The drier and much cooler climate above the clouds certainly has made it so much more comfortble. There were many beautiful memories along the journey.

One day I'll be back, to soak in all the beauty once more ✨️🙏

Today marks my 1st year anniversary that I have landed in this beautiful country 🇨🇦 ✨️

No matter how much preparation you have for your life's big move. Nothing comes close to what everything seems to be. Life can truly be a series of hallmark movie moments here and for that is one of the few times I truly experiencing true main character moments in life.

You'll meet so many different people, you'll experience so many different things, and you'll encounter so many challenges, as well as moments of struggle, pain, joy, happiness and life. It certainly wasn't my first time moving abroad.

And in an ironic twist of fate. I felt more 🇦🇺 the longer I left my home in Sydney. It doesn't diminish my 🇲🇨 identity, however like Canada. You will never truly feel the country that you're a citizen of until you leave for abroad. It has coloured me all over with its raw beauty, long ancient history, and its ways of life and being.

I'll forever be a twice immigrant and a true global citizen. But many say, the first year or two will be your toughest challenge to settle in your new place. I didn't find my prospects until my 10th month here. And only just now I am starting to reap what I sow.

Thank you for reading my post. This is my official reflection of my first year in Canada. I pray that I will truly have my dream come true to this land of promise 🙏✨️ soon enough

In the most desolate and isolated lands on the planet still contains some of the most beautiful and lush springs containing filtered waters from many millenias ago.

To see this magical sight in person is truly a sight to behold. In the adventures of our lives. There will be moments within our very own planet where we will be humbled by mother nature's creation.

From once a compilation of stardusts, to them becoming the elements of all the things on this planet, to experience billions of years of various transformations from sea floor, to lush lands, to dry desert and everything in between.

It makes you wonder what else is out there to see ✨️🙏🌏

They say that this place is the land of gods. And its reverance between the connection between its earthly inhabitant customs, spiritual divinities, and its quirky cosmopolitan capitalism has uniquely created an infusion of the most influential travel destination in the 21st century.

Long gone are the days of a simple paradise, which was born out of the vestages of a once powerful hindu empires, the blood of its fighters, the escapades for the misfits. It has become a global hub of ideas, cultures, and a land of aspiring idealists and cultural archivists vying for longing and their temporary existence.

I was skeptical by the influence of globalisation that's occurred in the islands. But having visited it many times and seeing the evolution of its people both from the locals and the new arrivals from all over...

It's giving me hope that maybe, just maybe... the world of Made's, Ketut's, Gede's and so on will be alright 🙏 I can only hope that it continues to inspire and allow the space for world changing ideas and revolutions in this divine place.

May Bali and its true synchronised identity survives and thrive, may it become the inspiration for the rest of the world 🌏

As a species, we will constantly chase the moments where we will be befallen by the jaw dropping sense of wonder and the grandeur.

Whatever it may be. In whatever context. We will always strive to find a sense of our being in this magnificent blue ball in a solar system on a quiet edge of the milky way.

One of those times I've befallen is viewing the scale, the beauty, magnificence and the ingenuity of the old world charm 🇲🇫 that is very much alive and thriving in our everchanging modern world

If as a species long ago we can create miracles as such, what possibilities in the future will we endeavour to recapture our sense of collective belonging within our humanity?

The answer is within all of us, we decide what the future will hold. And it's up to us to strive and rediscover beautiful living once more within this magnificence of urbanism landscape

This magnificent church has been standing for over 700 years. With its breathtaking history and wonders that is rightfully marvelled.

Perched at the southern corner of the main Venice in the Venice lagoon, by the Adriatic coast. It's magnificence often undermined the passing by tourists.

There aren't simply any churches in today's world that can compare it to its ostentatious architecture and the gold covered ceilings.

Venice is certainly a victim of its own success. And it's certainly overrun by visitors in some ways, pushing out the locals of once a dreamy idyllic place to live.

The paradox of this place as both a must see pilgrimage of the wonders of the world and it's preservation as an idyllic place and the way of being will forever hold until things will radically change.

I will one day return to venice. Not anytime soon, but I am happy to get glimpse of this marvelousity and its ongoing glory

These cheeky little buggers certainly know how to enjoy life and make the most of it!

One day in the 1950s, a group of macaques discovers the benefits of relaxation and the destressing of hot spring baths by sneaking into the local onsen (bathouses)

Eversince then, they spread the words, and so does their popularity. And as these entities are also recognised aa part of the local deities and spirits. The reverance also comes with their presence.

What a beautiful opportunity to capture these beauties ✨️🇯🇵

If there's one thing Toronto that I admire very quickly, is the amount of mural and street art that is plentiful and everywhere! And as spring arrives in town 🌸 more beautiful moments and strides that Toronto's vibrant scene makes itself appear ✨️

Melbourne and other big cities around the world does have a lot of these meaningful murals & street art, and definitely give the run for its money. However, they aren't as widespread and as much as Toronto does.

And in respect to the natives here. I would like to acknowledge that this image of the beautiful two spirits 🌈 representations is taken on the traditional territories of Missisaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples. Now its home to many diverse First nations, Inuit, and Metís people and is coveres by treaty 13 with the Missisaugas of the Credit.

When I first visited Milan, I didn't know much about the city, except that they are Italy's fashion and commercial capital.

I was surprised by the number of landmarks, history, and significance of the city. I only later found out that everywhere in Italy, this was the case.

And encountering this place was such an eye-opening experience. I have never encountered a meticulous yet grand shopping centre with much history!

Shopping centres in Asia are relatively new. They can be very grand and impressive, but it is never as historical and as meticulously beautiful and as heavy in their cultural architecture.

The closest that this would be for this in my experience is in Bali in which the intricate texture and patterns of art and statues are significantly incorporated in much of the architecture on the island when combined with its modern shops and amenities.

I am grateful to have experienced this kind of grandeur and beauty. This truly serves as an inspiration, not just for rekindling my appreciation for travels, but also for embracing many of the traditions and beauty that comes from each of our respective part of the world.

I wish to come back to Italy once again and explore its southern and the alps region to really see the remnants of Roman and medieval architecture.

Spreading one's wings into a brand new horizon can be daunting. Knowing that it will take sometime to adjust into your brand new experiences ✨️

Finally, things are settling in and stepping into the right direction. Yet still, a very long journey ahead indeed. Hoping its worth the huge initial sacrifice for ✈️

Sometimes one must go back and forth to gain some deeper perspectives on many things that matters to us before it all pays off. But sometimes, it can be worth the wait 🌎

In hindsight, everything does happen for a reason. Whether we prepared upon them or not, things will just simply be if we work towards what we want enough given the space and the opportunity 🌇

Yes it helps to realise how lucky we have things and practicing gratitude certainly grounds us better. But ultimately, if we weren't born into much privilege, we have to work hard towards our ambitious dreams 🙏

It's great to be able to see the world as a vast ocean of experience and knowledge, and its time to focus on the bigger goal, and don't let the daunting, windy road holds us back 🌄

And remember, we are not alone in this journey of life. Its silly to think that we must always be self reliant. Cherish those who love and support us. And remember where we come from 🌏

One can only wonder, and take in the rest of the experience one of the great wonders of nature. Standing on top of a majestic volcano overlooking an entire island and the horizon from atop is not something that most of us can say.

What an amazing breathtaking view! Mt Rinjani is truly a hidden gem. About as tall as Mt Fuji is, straddling on just the south of the equator both overlooking the island of gods (Bali 🏝) across the Lombok strait as well as Sumbawa across the Sumba strait on the other.

I hope to visit and explore more of these island volcano mountains when I get a chance to visit Indonesia and the rest of the Nusantara Archipelago one day 🇮🇩✨️

There are a lot of iconic places around NYC. But the ones with the best vistas where you can almost get a sense of everything from a distant is this iconic Brooklyn Bridge

There's just so much to take in. There's endless sea of buildings, waterways, ships, and icons that one can see across either side of the bridge.

Whilst the view from the hundreds of observations in this city is probably going to be the best. The very building that makes it iconic does not get captured in the presence.

There truly isn't that many places in the world where man made places are as iconic as somewhere like New York. With some exceptions in very few places across the globe.

As 2022 comes to a close. Ending them in a place like here just couldn't be more wonderful and joyous.

The land where millions of people's lives have been changed. One of the truly global village centres of the world.

May it rest forever in one's memories and we shall cherish them ✨️🇺🇲🌎

This simple ferry boat on this gorgeous blue ocean, both felt like a distant memory and just yesterday. Perceptions of time gets clouded over the experiences and journey we all have.

For some, this paradise is their backyard, for others, its a dream destination on the other side of the planet 🌏

But these days, the uncertain nature of humanity, politics, economy and the climate bears over the thoughts of those who are conscious and choose to think about. Makes it difficult to appreciate such a place ✨️

Its not just something that we must be grateful for. We must and we have to actively remember these moments of beauty and wonder. Because this is what life is worth striving for.

And yes, not everyone can or have the opportunity to be in such position, but even they should be assisted to do so, in their little ways.

What no one tells you about London, England is the fascinating urban jungle scape it has hidden beneath its historic architectures and landmarks.

This was rather a wonderful discovery! I supposed with the world's great cities, there will always be some hidden gem waiting to be uncovered and not necessarily mentioned on internet searches.

I cannot comment on the design of these architectures, however I hope they are future proof with energy conscious and reduced carbon footprint impacts.

Remembering these moments of joys, discovery, and wonder is what we all strive for. I hope many things will not hold you back ✨️

The hustle and bustle of this bold and brashing city. Where once it was the capital of the second largest empire in the world. Now it has become the most cosmopolitan city in Western EU 🇪🇺🇨🇵

This is the moment where the charm was fully captured and enamoured on my very own lens. The poetry, the mystique, the melancholy, and the nonchalance it imbues.

Perhaps there are other places, times, and atmosphere that can recreate this feeling. The feeling of marching on towards the bells of life and death of our very existence, leaving its mark in what once was a place to be and to exist

I can only hope to come back here under better circumstances. A more wonderful and joyous one nonetheless.

Life goes on no matter what happens. And the most practical thing there's to do is to prepare for whatever is about to come reasonably.

London's Waterloo station might be less iconic than King's Cross station. And perhaps less hectic than Victoria station. Nonetheless, the architecture is impressive! And most of all, you can connect yourself to almost anywhere in town.

The way I see this, perhaps this mid-late 20th century design is architecture that has quite a rare iconoclastic vision. I'm no expert at this, but it has certainly left a remarkable impression.

London, and the UK is an evolving place. But the speed in which things here are changing is just miles ahead of any western European city!

I am looking forward to come back here one day 🇬🇧 I certainly enjoy the trains and transports of this majestic place.

Berlin is often marked with the histories of world wars and the cold wars of the 20th century. One cannot escape such legacy and popularity, even though these days it's more renowned to be the party capital of Germany with its raves and festivals.

But I also can't help to also notice how much the city is moving ahead towards the future and one did not expect this impressive architecture more akin to the glams and glits of developed Asian malls.

As much as Berlin is about the past, its also a place very much a place looking to innovate and look towards the future. And there's nothing I admire and respect with a place that is very open to ideas and change.

But of course, what makes it unique still is that it is very much still within the German sensibility of its industrious nature. You can't escape that anywhere throughout the country. There's always a method to the madness 🌍

One of the world's greatest natural wonders ✨️🌏

Located on a very geologically ancient continent. At the georgaphical heart of one of the world's oldest continuous running culture are these ridges that are formed through weathering for millions of years are something to behold 🌄

Nothing can come close to ever describe the magnificence and wonders that it beholds. Not even gratitude can contains such appreciation.

Only reverence and sacredness prevails, which these indigenous people have practiced through their entire civilisations. I will one day return here and pay another visit to show my respect and acknowledgement for the land who has helped me grow to the person I am today 🙏😌

There are moments where capturing this picture feels like a fever dream. I just had to pinch myself to realise that this was real.

When you see them from a far, it seems to be a projection of a post card image. But walking through this fascinating architecture, particularly during the golden hour was simply divine ✨

I am glad travel has returned in full swing for most parts of the world. And I wish everyone safe travels! We still need to be mindful of our environment and surroundings.

And I hope to explore more of Europe again one day 🌟🌍

London might not be the best city in the world, but it has undeniable charms and pizazz that is unmatched anywhere else in Europe 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
