Hello, December 🤎 We’re busy behind the scenes finalising December AND January content calendars, so that our team and our clients and ‘switch off’ during the Christmas break.

Our tips for preparing to switch off over the holidays?
- Plan ahead: consider things like changes to opening hours, Boxing Day sales, Christmas cut off dates etc and schedule content to keep your customers informed. This will also minimise the need for customer service messages over the break

- Don’t overwhelm yourself: Often social media is a quiet time over the Christmas break, because everyone is WAY too busy having fun in the sun. So, if you’re already overwhelmed with your end of year to do list, don’t stress too much about socials. As long as the basics are covered and your audience is informed, the rest can wait. Reassess your social media in 2024 (we can help) 🤎

Don’t sleep on it: The sooner you cross it off your to do list, the sooner you can focus on the rest of your tasks knowing social media for the holidays is sorted = the sooner you can clock off for 2023.

It’s about time I introduce our Noosa based Social Media Coordinator, Shanai 🪩 Shanai began a 6 week internship with Social Lane last August, and has been with us ever since.

Not only does Shanai make killer reels and plan out beautiful grids, she has a huge passion for all things Social Lane and is always looking to
advance her skills. She is also so supportive of everyone around her - an incredible team player.

After hours, you can find Shanai trying the cocktails at Noosa’s newest restaurant, enjoying a Pilates session, scrolling IG reels looking for the latest trends, or working on her & her partners incredible van hire business, 🌴

We are SO excited to announce that Shanai has been offered a FULL TIME position with Social Lane that she will begin in February 🤎
