Bye Lightning Ridge, it has been a fun 5 nights!

Stayed at the Lorne Station Caravan Park in the best site of them all. A few 4-legged locals came to visit each day. 🐕

Went on all 4 of the 'coloured door tours' to see some of the weird and wonderful sights. Gaining the history of the mining in the area. Gorgeous sunset to finish off the day on the last tour. 🌅

Visited 'Just Rustic', which is a very interesting tour through the history of farming and the area. And enjoyed the best homemade scones for morning tea. Learnt the art of water divining💧.

Took a day trip to the Club in the Scrub, Glengarry Hilton, and the Sheepyard Inn. Wow!🍷🍻

Then it was off to Hebel Hotel and a dip in the artesian baths in Goodooga. 🍷🍻

We will be back!

A great family farm stay in Coonamble. Fantastic wheat and chick pea crops. A day working with the cattle. Some vaccinations and marking of calves. Best time.

2 free nights in Coonabarabran. Walking the Warrumbungles, meeting the locals and seeing the stars and planets up close!!
