Just wanted to thank all who have supported Rizz records over the year and helped me indulge my musical passion for some great Australian music. The new Rendezvous album is almost in the bag and it's sounding awesome with Syd Green in the production chair this time around it's a whole new beast. Will have a tasty treat to share from it over the next few weeks. Still slowly sifting through Guilding the Lily's demo's and rarities and hoping to release a lovely 2LP set for them later in the New year. Enjoy the festive season and stay safe. Well it was a huge night, catching up with with Dave and Grant from Rendezvous who were laying down the final tracks for their new album with Syd Green producing. Scott Smith and Caroline Miller-Peck even added a few tasty harmonies. We managed to drag Geoff Marks along as well, we hadn't all been in the same room together for over 11 years!! Needless to say a few drinks were had and many laughs as well as a playback of the bed tracks for the whole album. Sounding sweet already, can't wait to hear the finished product out on vinyl later this year through Rizz Records.

Yes they have finally arrived!! The Bob Sledge limited edition 2LP set is available now. Thanks to everyone that has pre-ordered the album it will be in the post to you over the next few days. There are still a small amount of the limited Live CD's available so if you haven't secured yourself a copy of the vinyl yet get on to it!! The lucky winners of the Rizz Records packs are Jeremy Burtenshaw & David Molden. Congrats guys you'll have complete sets of the Rizz Records catalog enjoy.... Onwards and upwards the vocals for the next Rendezvous album are being put down this month and hope to get it out before the end of the year. Finally got a copy of the Bob Sledge test pressing to Dave Peck for a listen. 20 years down the track, some hindsight and hearing the tracks on vinyl for the first time has been a real pleasure said Dave. "Not a bad batch of tunes if I do say so" he laughs. Pictured below the mighty axe that was used on many of the recorded tracks and used live blasting out of the beloved Reynolds amp and always on at least 11.
