A 20-year-old man has been charged with 26 offences following an extensive investigation into property crime in the Northern Rivers, with officers attending a home on Oak Avenue, Casino at around 9:40am yesterday.

Police believe several property and traffic offences which occurred along the north coast from Woolgoolga to Kingscliff in November and December last year were linked. The investigation led them to the home in Casino.

Officers allegedly located and seized items from the home including a machete, hammer, mobile phone, cannabis, and keys to a stolen vehicle.
