You're a specialist, a practice manager, a hospital administrator. You know you could be utilising social media to keep your community up to date, spread awareness and attract new clients but you aren't sure where to start?
We break down 4 tips to help create a successful social media marketing strategy! ππ
1. Decide on your goals:
What are you trying to accomplish with your social media presence? Do you want to attract more clients or doctors? Ensure customer satisfaction? Communicate better? Knowing your goals will allow you to focus on sending out relevant information to your audience.
2. Know your audience:
Understanding who your audience is and what they want will help you create a content strategy and help to identify what platforms you should be putting your time into. If your audience is younger, then platforms such as Instagram and Facebook will be effective however if your audience is older or business oriented, platforms such as LinkedIn or Twitter could perform better.
3. Research your competitors:
Researching competitors allows you to see what they're doing in their social space and what platforms are working for them. You can also gauge their tone of voice and analyse what content their customers are engaging with and interested in so you can emulate this or take it in another direction.
4. Plan your content:
Once you've got a strong understanding of your goals, audience and competitors you can begin to plan your content. Create a tone of voice for your brand whether that be casual, or formal and stick to it. Create content themes for example if you're a dentist you could create a content theme around client results.
