Recently we took some time to prioritise and process away from the digital landscapes.

While we make our craft in the mediums of communication we recognise the effects a hyper connected world can have on ones being.

We’re not built to absorb the endless timeline loop even as inviting as it is.

This year we hope to connect more from real time events and build more relationships away from these screens.

The double edged sword of social media is one we’ll continue to balance upon.

The fire is burning in a westerly direction towards Compass Close.

Firefighters are working behind homes along Salamander Way, Compass Close, Admiral Close and Mariner Crescent.

If you are in the Salamander Bay area you should monitor conditions and know what you will do if the fire threatens.

Keep up to date with the NSW Rural Fire Service and local RFS crews.

Join us on Friday the 25th of November for a night of local film, music, art and refreshments at celebrating the creative coastal sub-cultural pursuits with an exclusive premiere of 'Family Room' an insight into the lives of those that call Box Beach their home break.

Including locally made surf, skate, snow and seascape inspired videos, photography and artworks.

This is a free all-ages community event for all walks.

To be honest it’s really not our jam.

We’re most comfortable clicking on the fly as the uncontrollable unfolds around us.

This was our first real setup shot for the good homies at and we reckon it’ll pass the pub test.

Bloody surprised what you can do with an old lamp and a splash of water in a brew shed lit up like a bonfire mid-canning session.

Go charge a Darkside Stout into ya, a ripper little in-house collaboration between Dan and Jack of the Murray’s brew team with and and tell us the good word!
