30mm of beautiful rain just when we needed it, what a fantastic sound on a tin roof. This has been a tough, dry couple of years and there are many places thoughout the country in a far worse situations than us. Its a start, but more would be welcome.

Our second season commenced a week ago and we're really encouraged to see truffles appearing under trees that didn't produce last year. It's a game of patience but the signs are positive.
