I noted last time that my episodes might get a bit longer as we explore the seven churches of Revelation. Well, I found a way to avoid that by splitting my thoughts into two shorter episodes. This will be my approach with the remaining churches - I hope it makes your listening time a bit easier!

I'm settling into a weekly podcast pattern in this new year period - may it continue! Latest episode in my Revelation section of 'Devotions' is out now. You'll notice that these eps on the seven churches are a little longer - truth is, I have around 3500 words to say on each, but I can't see a helpful place where I could cut them in half. So, for the next few episodes, I'll be going a little longer than usual. Thanks for listening along!

My last Sunday here in Phop Phra Thailand. Speaking in the morning at Klee Htoo Klo Karen Baptist Church - my fourth time there - I love visiting this congregation! At night I joined with the Kawthoolei Hope Theological Seminary for their community service. Now the return process begins…

An amazing week at Kawthoolei Hope Theological Seminary - these are some of the students I had the privilege of working with - the future of this movement of churches on the Thai-Burma border will be in good hands in years to come with students like these!

Season 6 of my podcast launches today! I have 6 remaining episodes in the synoptic gospels which will be released during the Passion week in April. I am beginning a new exploration journey - this time in the book of Revelation. I'm nervous about it, but also hopeful that this helps a bunch of people. I'd love for this to be shared everywhere, and I'll always be open to comments where they turn up - Spotify has a comment section nowadays too! There are two new episodes - one to introduce the book, the next to look at the opening verses. It's now in all the podcast apps!

It was amazing to be able to share a morning with a Karen congregation in Mae Ramat Thainland. Being the first Sunday of the year there was an early thanksgiving service followed by their main program. So much food, so much love shown to me and the Mount Gambier Baptist team.

Obligatory selfie before leaving! A highly skilled crew from my church is headed to Thailand - Jenny and I are first to leave. From Bangkok, we’ll all fly north to Mae Sot and serve at a school, a bible college and a handful of churches. Will keep you posted…

Another double-upload now available on all the podcast apps. One was certainly easier to write than the other because one passage ends better! I wasn’t sure at first, but it turns out you CAN do a meaningful devotion based exclusively on the demise of Judas!!

I’ve had a few things on the go, but I have a schedule to keep here too! So, here’s a double upload!! There are just 10 episodes remaining to complete my exploration of the synoptic gospels and these will all be up by Christmas. Then, Season 6 takes on an ambitious section of the New Testament - can’t wait to tell you what that will be!
