We are excited to announce the Mount Barker Medicare Mental Health Centre on Cameron Road is opening its doors very soon!

Lived experience voices are invaluable to help inform how we can best support the community. We invite you to join our Lived Experience Reference Group.

We strongly encourage those who identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, those from a non-English speaking background, living with a disability or LGBTQIA+ to apply to reflect our community’s diversity.

This Lived Experience Reference Group will be facilitated by peer workers with their own lived experience of mental health distress and recovery. To apply, please fill out an Expression Of Interest form via the following link: https://forms.office.com/r/JhqxBYFHuU

TAKING SHAPE

The excellent weather we've experienced over the past 12 months has ensured that construction of the Summit Aquatic and Leisure Centre remains on track for a mid to late 2025 opening.

We’re currently working on the details for the opening event, and we’ll be able to announce the official opening date as we get closer to completion.

We’ll share some interior images of the SALC in coming weeks to give you a preview of just how fantastic it’s going to be.

We'll also start sharing information about the centre's operations.
