What are your thoughts on the AI-generated Christmas ad from Coke? Spotted the dog with 4 nostrils, or the poor polar bear with the deformed front paw? Is this ad giving you all the good Christmas feels and actually an amazing example of AI technology, or is it, as The Byte sums up, predictable, unimaginative and vaguely uncanny? The irony of this ad being made by a company with the tagline 'It’s always the real thing’ is not lost on us here at the Clearshot office. While we don’t mind using a bit of AI on mindless tasks, we’re a long way off handing over creative control. Either way, everyone in the world is talking about Coke right now…maybe that was their plan all along.
