It is with a heavy heart that I mourn the passing of one of our beloved team members, Junior Tetonga, known to many as .

Junior was a remarkable individual…reserved yet outgoing, and deeply committed to his work and his family.

For the past year, he has been an integral part of our agency, locking it down at Burleigh Heads Hotel every Friday night with his son Dejhaun for the last six months.

I will fondly remember our recent agency Go Karting day where Junior, despite being a big guy, absolutely gave it to me on the track. We actually battled it out in most of our sessions.

Junior’s presence was felt not just through his music, but in the quiet reliability and excellence he brought to every gig.

In his year with us, he never received a single complaint—a true mark of his professionalism and dedication.

My deepest condolences go out to his family, friends and loved ones during this difficult time. ❤️

Sometimes we forget about how much of our passion continues to push the business forward. Felt like you could all do with a reminder as well!

Last year, 35% of the artists on Billboard’s Hot 100 year end charts were female artists - a 12 year high.

Over the past 5 years the swing in the industry at the grass roots level has seen clients primarily wanting female DJs.

Unfortunately there is a major issue. There aren’t enough female DJs looking to pursue djing as a career / day job.

We want to use the celebrations of today to put the word out! Women we need you!

The pay is good the hours are short.

But beyond that Thankyou so much to the amazing women we’ve worked with over the years. Especially those that have stuck with us from the very start.

This goes beyond our talent and into our office. With both our bookers and our accountant being female. There are jobs right throughout this industry if you just love entertainment but don’t have the calling to perform.

I have worked with and am in awe of so many strong women in this industry: stage designers, event planners, marketing directors, label owners, grammy nominated producers, light and sound engineers.

Please fill our industry with more women you are welcome and needed.

Spring into FREE DJ Skool workshops at Paradise Centre this Springtime! 🎶🎧🌼

Suitable for all ages and experience levels, these free 30-minute workshops will have you spinning the decks and mixing like a pro in no time. There are 16 spots per session and no bookings are necessary.

DATE: Friday 1, Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 September
TIMES: 12pm, 12.45pm, 1.30pm, 2.15pm, 3pm, 3.45pm, 4.30pm and 5.15pm
