I’m by no means the best filmmaker in the world but I’ve learnt a thing or two about creative production over the last decade I’ve spent making films and working as a professional.

Happy Lunar New Year to all! 🧧 🐍

2025 is the year of the Snake, a symbol of wisdom, elegance and intuition.

We would like wish everyone a year filled happiness, love, good health and wealth!

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported our business from day one to today.

This year we will be celebrating our 9th year anniversary and this definitely would not be possible without the love and support of our family, friends and clients.

2024 has been one of our biggest years yet! 🔥

Whilst at the same time, it was a year where we faced our toughest challenges.

It really did feel like a Kobe year because that mamba mentality was very much needed.

If there’s one thing I’ve learnt this year.. well actually, I don’t think I could name one thing. As much as I would love to write the perfect lesson that will help you move into 2025, there really isn’t an answer. Only you have that answer. 

As for me, my lessons have been a culmination of all of the “small” moments I’ve shared with all of our clients, supporters, family and friends.

I’m a big believer in life lessons from anyone and anything. I’m so thankful for all of our incredible clients that I’ve been able to connect with and learn from this year. From Melbourne to Los Angeles to Paris. I was able to work with so many awesome humans from all over the globe this year and I know that this is still only the beginning for us.

My mindset has changed a lot this year. I now understand how important losing is in this journey. How hard it can be to “lose” or feel like you are losing. These moments truly define who you are by how you handle it. It builds character.

How can you be great when you’ve only experienced success?

How do you take losses or lessons and apply them to your next steps moving forward.

Do you sit around and feel sorry for yourself or do you get up and fight back.

It hasn’t been easy but I’m really proud of how FLYING ART STUDIOS® has developed this year.

We worked with so many new, hella talented creatives, produced some of our best work to date and created multiple events for our community.

If you’ve made it this far, I want to thank you for taking the time to be a part of our journey.

I hope these words can serve as a reminder the next time you feel like you are down and out.

The energy, love and passion that you put into your next steps will get you to where you want to go. It might take time, but eventually, if you keep showing up and you stay focused, you will get there. Don’t give up.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday season :)

INT. CAFE - EVENING

“Hey bro, I want you to be a part of this film company I want to build.” “Oh dope! What’s it called?” David hands the folder to Kim. He opens it up to the front page. A black logo centred on a white A4 sheet of paper. The logo was an eagle rising from the sun, with three small words underneath. “Flying Art Films.” The rest is history.
