Before the COVID-19 Pandemic hit we were preparing for the Tenth International Spinach Conference, to be held in Lakes Entrance. This has of course been postponed. Thanks to all those who had committed to supporting this event.

Enza Zaden & OneHarvest had committed to being our Gold sponsors. Silver sponsors of the event were to be South Pacific Seeds, BASF MySeed, Vilmorin-MIKADO, Terranova Seeds, Omnia Specialities Australia, Rijk Zwaan and Primo Moratus Fresh, and bronze sponsors - Sustainable Farming Solutions and Bejo Australia.

We look forward to bringing you the top minds & most up-to-date knowledge on spinach production when we are able.

A huge thanks to Bejo for their continued support as a Gold Level Sponsor for the 67th Hamilton Show.

"Bejo is a leading company in breeding, production and sales of vegetable seeds. With operations in more than thirty countries, we are an internationally oriented family business.

Bejo’s Tasmanian operation started in 1998 when it bought Derwent Seeds in Richmond, Tasmania. At that time, they had two employees and “a rented warehouse with old machinery”. The Tasmanian business now has 30 employees and three farms with two seed cleaning facilities - most recently a $5 million cleaning shed built in 2014.

Aside from the original 80ha at Richmond, it has 440ha at Plenty in the Derwent Valley and 10ha at Cressy in the Northern Midlands." Bejo Australia

The development of new vegetable varieties, innovative research methods and better seed cleaning techniques is what keeps us busy every day at Bejo, so that we can still enjoy tasty healthy vegetables in 50 years' time. This is an exciting search that never stops. We are proud to introduce our new corporate film: Exploring nature never stops

Bejo introduces new sustainable seed coating.
