Satsang Oceania Celebrates 136th Birth Anniversary of Sree Sree Thakur Anukul Chandra in Melbourne!

On the auspicious occasion of the 136th birth anniversary of Sree Sree Thakur Anukul Chandra, the Melbourne Utsav unfolded its magnificence on November 25, 2023, at Glengala Hall, Sunshine West, Melbourne, Victoria. The event, organised by Satsang Oceania, was graced with the special blessings of Parampujyapada Sree Sree Acharyadev.

The celebration drew attendees from different states of Australia, with Satsangi guru bhai and mothers adding to the joyous atmosphere. John Mullahy, the Labor Member for Glen Waverley District in the Victorian Parliament, attended as a special guest, underscoring the occasion's significance.

The day-long program was meticulously planned, featuring five distinct phases. The festivities commenced with the Usha Kirtan (morning prayer) that set the spiritual tone for the day. The second phase showcased the talents of children who took centre stage in a special Satsang featuring performances such as Giti Allekkha.

The Mothers Conference's third phase provided a platform for mothers from different regions to discuss their invaluable contributions to fostering happy families and vibrant communities. This segment highlighted mothers' pivotal role in shaping a great society and nation.
The Sangeetanjali phase followed, wherein members of Satsang Oceania, accompanied by guests, rendered soulful devotional songs.

The special guest inaugurated the festivities by lighting the lamp through Bande Purushottam Dhoni, symbolising the spiritual enlightenment associated with Sree Sree Thakur Anukul Chandra's teachings.

In addition to the musical presentations, the program included a thought-provoking discussion session. Distinguished individuals such as Dr. Subhash Nandi, Madhav Howlader, Bibek Nag, and other guests engaged in conversations that delved into the philosophical underpinnings of Sree Sree Thakur Anukul Chandra's teachings. The discussions focused on the profound dharma philosophy of Yuva Purushottam Sree Sree Thakur Anukul Chandra, shedding light on its relevance in contemporary times.

The Melbourne Utsav commemorated the life and teachings of Sree Sree Thakur Anukul Chandra and provided a platform for spiritual reflection, cultural expression, and community bonding. The event's success was a testament to the vibrant spirit of Satsang Oceania and the enduring legacy of Sree Sree Thakur Anukul Chandra in fostering unity and spiritual enlightenment.
