It was a really fun experience delivering this suite of content for @monash_science and @monash_uni, where PhD graduates got super honest and raw about their experiences.
Getting someone to let their guard down while cameras and lights are in their face requires some planning and a carefully considered approach.

We’ve all heard the stories of how our favourite books, TV shows, movies, and albums got made.
But what about the ones that didn’t make it?
If you can’t tear your eyes (or ears) away from a trainwreck, then check out Pitch Bleak, the podcast series from the team at Posterboy Media.
From the bottom drawer scripts that were criminally ignored, to the TV productions that were butchered in front of their eyes, join our very own Hayden Bevis and screenwriter Chris Kennett as they dive into the creative ideas that went wrong. The ideas that had promise, but got pulled into a dark alley and beaten with a sock full of change before they could even see the light of day.
From the multicultural TV comedy project from two Aussie rappers that simply disappeared; to Em Rusciano, with a big idea pitch that could have been saved by a single conversation—and how it crumbled apart right in front of her eyes.
Or our deep dive with Rove McManus, and how he dealt with the trauma of his office burning down while at the same time managing the rejection for a new sketch show—and what he did next—these are un-success stories that aren’t for the faint-hearted.
Delve into our first investigation with some of Australia’s brightest creatives, as they raise the curtain on their true creative crimes and uncover the disaster stories that stopped these wondrous works from being made at all.

🎧 NEW PODCAST OUT NOW 🎧
The 5th and final season of Classic Material podcast is now out. A project that we've had the pleasure to produce, edit and mix.
Remember folks, podcasts don't always have to be 'just a conversation' - they can be well-researched, written, structured bodies of work - like this one.
Classic Material chronicles the most important albums in Australian hiphop music history. 360, Bliss n Eso, 1200 Techniques, Scribe and now for the 5th season, Sound Unlimited Posse - the first hiphop group to have a top 40 hit (1992) and be nominated for an ARIA (1994).
Documentary-style podcasts are always fun to bring alive and turn into a listening experience through sound design and selection.
Shoutouts to our friends at @complex_au and @archety.pe and of course our partner, researcher, interviewer and host @stevejduck for telling these stories.
Good animation takes abstract ideas, or things that are otherwise difficult to film, and communicates them clearly and in an engaging visual style. You can couple this with various ways to deliver your message, including scripted voiceover narration, interviews and text-on-screen.
This piece helped promote and recruit twins for a clinical study that explored genetic and environmental influences on resilience and vulnerability to mental health problems. A really interesting piece we had a chance to be involved in.
Talk to us about animation on your next project - we'll handle the process from start to finish.
A snippet from a video testimonial suite completed last year for Monash University.
Testimonials are about creating a narrative of success or growth because of your service or product. The tone, feel, pacing and messaging all drive this. Addressing all of these elements means you're making full use of the medium. If not, why do video?
