An advantage of living on the other side of the planet from where you were born means your birthday lasts 2 days! Though it was yesterday here, my half century milestone is still happening back home, so to celebrate - it's my party and I'll play what I want to!

They are set to release a new album this week on Cold Transmission called Alive and in even better news, they're finally coming to town for a gig! Ian will join me to talk about the band, their music and how they've been influenced by the dark side of life in Adelaide. I'll spin some tracks from all 3 of their fabulous albums.

Throwback to 5 years ago today when we were fortunate enough to see The Cure perform Disintegration for its 30th anniversary at the Sydney Opera House as part of Vivid LIVE 2019. We hit the ticket lottery and got front row center seats. To see one of my fave albums performed in one of the world's most spectacular venues is something I'll never forget!

Tonight we're off to see Peter Hook & The Light perform one of my other favorite albums - Substance. We are so lucky.
