The past few years of my life have been spent knee-deep in a literature degree. Countless hours have been dedicated reading and studying literary fiction, from Wilde to Woolf to Joyce. I’ve read the…

As a reader, have you ever felt disconnected from others or judged for no good reason?

In Busybird’s latest blog, Thursday intern, Rebecca Cannizzaro, debunks some of the factors that impact our reading habits from a young age, and explores how they shape our future!

WOW, what a night as we almost wind up 2024. We had Open Mic No106 which was also the Busybird Christmas break up last night and we had the best night all gathering, eating, laughing, connecting and then hearing some amazing readings and performances. Thank you to all who came, dressed up, brought food and helped the night be a great way to finish the year off with a lot of the Busybird family together in one place all having fun. Here are some snippets from the night, the dress-ups were awesome and congrats Ellen for winning the hamper of BB goodies. Ok, let's finish off the year and go start 2025... hopefully big things to announce soon at Busybird :-) Stay tuned.
