Our North Queensland RRR women are jumping on board.🌱

As of yesterday we have had 537 respondents and the statistics and stories are speaking. ✅

To reach over 1000 women Australia wide means our research and this survey will be the broadest and largest of its kind. But it’s not about numbers or ownership. It’s about OUTCOME! With these numbers we have a greater chance of addressing policy whilst representing voices from all walks of life.

If you are a regional, rural or remote woman and have 15mins, please add your voice to the collective story.

🎥RURAL DAUGHTERS

Calling rural women of Australia!

ATOM Victoria in partnership with CheekyMac Productions invite women based in remote, rural, and regional locations of Australia to take part in a nationwide survey which will inform the production of a ground-breaking new documentary RURAL DAUGHTERS.

This feature-length film aims to take an unflinching look at the unique and often overlooked barriers and success stories of rural women as they effect change in their communities and lead purpose-driven lives.

✏️ATOM will be developing an education resource (study guide) to support the use of the documentary in Australian schools.
📝The study guide will be available for download through The Education Shop

Thank you to the 750 women and allies who watched the premiere of Jackson’s Track at the Women in Gippsland and Baw Baw Shire Council International Women’s Day event.

So humbled to walk along side our Indigenous elders. Although there is such a long way to go in this fight, it was encouraging to learn how many in this particular audience share a heart to see change.

Jackson’s Track is a short exposé on the Kurnai Elders' experience of the healthcare system in Gippsland during the stolen generation, featuring Cheryl Drayton & Linda Mullet. Shot in half a day in between lockdowns during the pandemic, this is a small film with a big heart.

… and join the fight in shifting mindsets across Gippsland in advocacy for our First Nation Gippslandians and beyond.
