Amsterdam-based producer Alex Sharp returns to the label for our 141st release to unveil his latest project, the Kaval Sviri EP – a mesmerising fusion of melodic techno and Bulgarian folklore.

This evocative collection consists of two originals, the title 'Kaval Sviri' and 'Avante Mori' alongside a striking remix of the by the emerging Austrian techno producer Mike Pipes.

'Kaval Sviri,' meaning 'The Flute Plays,' is inspired by a Bulgarian folk tale centered on a shepherd's flute and a story of love and longing. Alex preserves the haunting beauty of the traditional melody while reimagining it through the lens of modern techno, blending hypnotic beats with poignant cultural storytelling.

'Avante Mori' further extends the folkloric inspiration, weaving intricate soundscapes that bridge past and present.

Adding a dynamic plot-twist, Mike Pipes' remix of 'Kaval Sviri' transforms the track into a peak-time anthem, enhancing its energy while respecting its roots. The full 3-track EP is both a tribute to tradition and an invitation to experience dance music as a vessel for storytelling.

RC134 | We’re excited to introduce Brian Don to Recovery Collective with his highly anticipated release and debut on the label, ‘Multiversal.’

After working on this for over a year, we are thrilled to finally share this incredible project with the world. The word ‘Multiversal’ speaks to infinite possibilities and dimensions – perfectly reflected in shimmering vocals and atmospheric layers that elevate this track to new heights.

The Original Mix takes listeners on an expansive, melodic journey, combining shimmering vocals and intricate sound design to create a captivating atmosphere. This title track showcases Brian Don’s masterful production, with an uplifting, emotionally charged vibe.

The MAMI Remix transforms “Multiversal” into peak-time melodic techno, blending driving energy with emotional melodies for a powerful dancefloor moment. MAMI’s signature sound adds intensity and depth, making it a standout for peak-hour sets.

Next, Sonic Union delivers a stripped-back, deep, and driving interpretation. His remix hones in on hypnotic grooves, creating a captivating atmosphere perfect for late-night sessions.

Tophee's Remix injects a bouncy, psychedelic twist into the track, taking listeners on a dynamic journey through energetic beats and mind-bending soundscapes. It’s a vibrant, trippy take on the original.

Finally, Connor Mac brings a low-slung, deep progressive house groove to the release. His remix is subtle yet infectious, offering a smooth and entrancing rhythm perfect for deeper moments on the dancefloor.

It's always an absolute pleasure working with creme de la creme of local talent, and here we introduce the legend that is Emile Battour who featured as the vocalist on our latest Recovery Collective release with the MAMI boys! ⚡️ Emile is a seasoned musician with 15 years of experience, but he's just scratching the surface as an up-and-coming songwriter and producer. He has had a hand in many projects, with writing and production credits for artists such as 360, KVNYL, and Sir Jude.
