Larrikin House have had a big year 💛

We signed a lot of amazing creatives and created beautiful, quirky books that are funny and joyful ⭐️

We started publishing adult commercial fiction, and The Bogan Book Club is getting brilliant reviews!

We continue to publish picture books, junior fiction, graphic novels and middle grade fiction and our upcoming releases are absolutely brilliant!

Larrikin House also hosted hundreds of Book Fairs and sold books for 300 author events (mostly in schools). We sold thousands of books from all publishers to schools because we know what kids love!

We publish fun, quirky, humorous books that push boundaries and challenge stereotypes. We work with creatives who are fun and passionate about creating books kids love. At Larrikin House, we want everyday to be a joy. We can’t wait for 2025!

Guess How I Was Born is a delightful book about all the ways babies come into the world 🩷 They are all miracles!

We met Heidi at the School Library Association of Victoria before The Bogan Book Club was released. She was one of the first people to read The Bogan Book Club and was awesome enough to email us a review.

This has been a passion project at Larrikin House HQ and orders for this little book have already gone through the roof and it’s not out until early next year! 💛

We wanted to create a book that celebrated ADHD brains, while not overlooking the challenges that we face. It’s a book that also helps neurotypical brains understand what it’s like to have ADHD.

Positive, affirming, beautifully illustrated and celebratory, this book celebrates kids who are unique, loud, talkative courageous, adventurous and empathetic 🔥

It was important for us to create a book with creatives who know firsthand what it’s like to have ADHD.

This book will form part of a series as we’re currently in the middle of signing an author for a book about an autistic child. (The autism community is shifting towards identity-first language but it’s always best to ask what the person prefers.)

Thank you to the brilliant humans behind the project who have made this book so beautiful.
