VALE: Mike Raymond

This video was shot back in 2016. It was the late Mike Raymond talking about Nissan's involvement in Australian Touring Car racing. I was there, primarily, to film a piece for Mike's induction into the Supercars Media Hall of Fame. When I asked him to lay down some extra words for Nissan Australia, he did not hesitate. The industry was saddened to hear of Mike's passing today. This man's voice is the soundtrack to my childhood. I can recite his commentary. I still role out some of his classic lines with my racing mates. His contribution to the sport and broadcasting is undeniable, and his contribution to my love for the game will last a lifetime. RIP Michael. Grant 🤓
