24 DAYS OF PAVLOVA: FROM WORST TO BEST!
WOW. What a fun series, 24 Pavlovas in 24 days! We are a bit sad it’s over tbh!
We tried toppings for the first time, we tried strange combinations and all the classic flavours.
From the fails (rocky road and Christmas pudding) to the absolute BANGERS (Dubai choc, crème brûlée & traditional) this was such an awesome way to count down to Christmas (and my birthday!)
Thank you to everyone who followed along and gave us all your thoughts along the way! And we have loved seeing other people join in the fun at home. 🩷 and no, I’m not sick of pavlova yet! In fact I’m making a full sized one for my family Christmas lunch! Which topping will I be doing? 🤔

COLGATE THE REINDEER!
Today we went live over on YouTube and created this very cute reindeer! Named Colgate due to the Mohawk looking like toothpaste! It was so fun interacting with everyone in the chat and doing live POLLS to help pick which direction we went in. Will definitely be doing more in the future, but in the meantime- if you missed it you can go and watch the recording now on YouTube 🩷

10,000 COPIES SOLD IN AUS! 🥳🥳
Just wanted to take a sec to acknowledge our little book TIGGA MAC’S CAKE HACKS has flown past 10,000 copies sold here in Aus. 😱
These photos are from the day we saw our book in the flesh for the first time. Katie LOST IT. Tears straight away. And I get it. It was such a huge moment! All that work, years in the making, multiple edits, and there it was. It was so beautiful we were in awe.
Now to see that it has sold over 10,000 copies in 2 months…INSANE! So thank you to everyone who has bought a copy! We are so grateful to each and every one of you. Here’s to another 10,000!!

✨EIGHTEEN✨
Absolutely loved creating this cake for my little cousin
8” Vanilla velvet cake with lemon curd and buttercream.
For the writing on top, I made my own custom stencil using acetate and cut it out with my Cricut. Writing is not my specialty and it always stresses me out! So this way I can do perfect writing without the stress!

This was such a fun collaboration! When Ferguson Plarre reached out wanting to work with us, we were so excited! The whole process, from designing the cake, to visiting their main base of operations, to the photoshoot and meet and greet! It was such a blast!

SWIPE FOR COMPARISON! ➡️
12 years ago, I decorated a Buzz Lightyear cake for my little cuz! I did the entire thing freehand and for someone who had just started cake decorating, I think I did a really good job!
But 12 years later, I wanted to try and make the same cake again using skills and methods I’ve learned since then.
The flip hack method was PERFECT for this type of cake. I was able to get all the proportions bang on, which is something I struggled with the first time.
I think the end result is much cleaner and much improved! Loved recreating this one!

SYDNEY CAKE BAKE SWEETS SHOW 2024!

Just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who came along to the show this weekend! We had the most amazing few days, full of smiles and cake and colour! Seeing all the kids rocking up in Tigga Mac inspired outfits was an absolute HIGHLIGHT!

In January 2023, we started writing this book. It was a labour of love. We poured everything we had in to it. We learned a lot along the way, fumbling and stumbling while still kickin goals. We are so proud of it. To be published authors is not something we ever envisioned for ourselves but it feels so right at the same time.
