Spitfire Audio's Westworld scoring competition
I've been absent for a while due to two road trauma incidents in succession. I'm still rehabilitating, but decided to test my skills compositional skills in a recent international competition.
No, I didn't win, but it was fun to do as well a great learning exercise.

Don Cowling: "I've got a teardrop in my eye"
Here's a music recording and film clip I've produced recently, featuring Donald Cowling, a singer/songwriter from Warrnambool, Victoria. He was fantastic to work with and I hope you enjoy his Country & Western song "I've got a teardrop in my eye".
Kate Miller-Heidke and Kier Nuttall
The Port Fairy Folk Festival committee requested me to video their 40th festival in March of this year. I'm in the process of reviewing and editing my footage and I hope to produce a 90 minute documentary from the many hours of performances, as well as artist, audience and volunteer comments I've recorded.
Stay tuned.
In the process of revisiting my video material, I've found something I'd like to share with you.
You're going to love this; this is beautiful.

The Vendettas
Here's a new video I've made of The Vendettas, produced from live footage taken at Yah Yahs in Smith St, Fitzroy a little over 12 months ago. The Vendettas are one of my favourite #independent #Aussie #Rock #bands. They regularly deliver wildly entertaining performances of high energy rock to enthusiastic audiences across #Melbourne. They're great guys, too!
Warrnambool Symphony Orchestra, "Under the Milky Way" Warrnamb...
How about classical musicians? Did they get a guernsey at the Warrnambool AusMusic Festival? Sure did! Here's the Warrnambool Symphony Orchestra playing 3 versions of the Australian classic hit "Under the Milky Way". They composed their own interpretations of this song. I've edited 5.08 minutes for everyone to enjoy.

The languid, sultry tones of Melva vs Salvador really pleased audiences at the Warrnambool AusMusic Festival this year. Jazz meets art. Here's 5.30 minutes of their performance.

Here's a rendition of "Under the Milky Way" by another great local band "Altered Minds", performed at the Warrnambool AusMusic Festival in November. Heavy rock. Here's 3.21 minutes for you to enjoy.
Hold on to your hats, everyone!
