Both and are rocking a series of special evening sessions at $60 per hour. Price includes studio hire, engineer, multi-instrumentalists and a rough mix so you can listen to your creativity on the way home!

This is the rebirth (sort of) of the recording studio I grew up in (Sean Hutton). My father built his own state of the art (for the 90's) large format studio in Darwin, Northern Territory! I spent many years as a child sleeping underneath the audio console, breaking connectors and being told to "shhhhh" whilst they were recording.

This studio has also been functional and "finished" for 12 months, but only today have we finally decided on a name: Kakadu Studios.

The studio is owned by Sean Hutton and managed day to day by the legendary Ben Irawan.

We've got everything you'd need to make a record here, write or just muck around and press record. We'll finish off a website in the near future and get all the other bits sorted, but in the meantime, I feel relieved, knowing the weird pressure of naming this space is all done and dusted 🥲
