Flipping into Melbourne Cup week 🏆

Before long, there will be 70 new puppies ready to report for paw patrol. The National Detector Dog Program, from Australian Border Force, has called for new foster carers to open their hearts and homes to these detector dogs in training. ABF provides equipment, covers all food and veterinary care, and offers foster carer education and a 24/7 support service. Foster carers are even covered if they have holidays booked in training time, with ABF taking care of the puppy while they’re away. Carers must live in Melbourne or Greater Geelong, have a safe and secure yard, be able to walk the pup once a day, be willing to socialise the puppy and be available to attend the facility three times during the 12-month period for pup training sessions.

Mourners looked on as the hearse carrying the remains of Queen Elizabeth II passed through a Scottish village. The funeral cortege left Balmoral Castle, where the queen died, and will arrive in London on Tuesday.
