Hey Everyone
Its been a while but this is something we feel is very important

Football is a game of passion and from this not only does it create strong rivalries on the odd occasion it creates some beautiful friendships with people from other clubs

For Josh and Ben since the inception of Western United football Club and the Western Service Crew this has been the case. We were lucky enough 3 year ago to host the lads from the All Out West Podcast Caleb, Wallace and Jay on the Smashing Crossbar Podcast and from that moment they have always welcomed us with open arms

In football some things are sacred, the pre game pub you drink in, your active support bay and the march from the pub to the stadium every game. Due to our friendship with these guys Josh and Ben have been privileged enough to drink in their pub, march with them to the ground and even sit in their active support bay whilst adorned in full Newcastle Jets gear without even being looked at sideways or abuse hurled at us because of the openness and friendship we share

Over the past few months for those deep in the football community it’s been no secret that one of our friends, member of the Western Service Crew and previous podcast guest, Jay Sutcliffe has been battling with cancer

And it is with a heavy heart that we wish to inform you, our subscribers, friends and viewers that our good friend Jay has lost his battle with cancer.

From all our viewers and both Josh and Ben, Crossbar Capers wishes to offer Jay’s family and friends our deepest condolences and best wishes whilst trying to navigate through this difficult time.

Hey Everyone!
I know its been a little while since the last update
So here's what's new

Sarah and I have finally moved house after the owner of our previous rental decided to sell it..... so we're still slowly getting thru unboxing everything

In saying that the new studio is all unpacked and functional
Regular live streams will be starting back mid/late November

I'm not sure on days or times just yet but I will be trying to stick to my existing slots so I don't throw many people out from our original programming and will start slow and more streams will be added once I can schedule things appropriately

The FIFA 23 Portsmouth RTG will be priority as I need to get that finished... more than likely will stay on Sundays followed closely by our EAFC 24 RTG with Doncaster

Mods for EAFC 24 have already started dropping so we should be able to start the series straight away with kits and banners ect

Hi everyone!
I hope you have all had an amazing day.....

Unfortunately I come baring some sad news
Firstly let me apologise for the lack of communication in regards to streams over the past 2 weeks

In saying that.... I have decided to put all streams..... both Corner Flag Games and my involvement in the Smashing Crossbar Podcast on hiatus for the next few months

I have some really personal things that I need to sort out that require my time and concentration

This is not goodbye..... I couldn't never give up streaming all together and throw away 5 years of hard work..or walk away from that many friends ive made during that time... I'm just putting it down for a while to re focus on some other really important things

I will still be active on all my social media (Facebook, twitter, discord insta and tiktok) and please feel free to reach out and have a chat
