Have you ever heard of investing in mortgages as a strategy?

We hadn't either! Turns out it's a compelling option for savvy investors, but the concept can take a bit to get your head around.

That’s why Simple Property Loans engaged us to break down the concept in a way that's engaging and easy to grasp: through a sketch video.

The video explains how mortgage investing works, why it can be a smart choice, and, most importantly, how risks are mitigated.

Mortgage investing isn't just a new buzzword—it's an innovative product that could reshape how we think about investment portfolios. Our goal with this video was to make the idea accessible and intriguing, helping investors feel confident in exploring something new.

If you're curious about how a visual story can simplify complex financial concepts, this is a great example. Love to hear your thoughts!

In today’s digital age, ensuring children’s safety online is more important than ever.

In recognition of October being Cybersecurity month, we created this sketchnote “Tips for keeping your child safe in cyberspace” based on cybersecurity expert advice from Susan McLean - Cyber Safety Expert of Cyber Safety Solutions. This visual guide offers practical tips to help parents navigate the challenges of cyberspace and protect their children from potential dangers.

Some key recommendations include setting clear boundaries for online activities, educating kids about privacy and responsible social media use, and encouraging open communication about their digital experiences. Taking these proactive steps can significantly enhance your child's safety in the digital world.

Check out our sketchnote for a quick, engaging overview of these essential tips!

Yesterday was Drop the Jargon Day - an important reminder that using plain language can break down barriers, improve health outcomes, and make crucial information accessible to all Australians, no matter their background or the language they speak.

The Sketch Group team attended a fantastic webinar featuring Nives Zerafa from Continence Foundation of Australia and Tristan Pagniello-Priolo from Centre for Culture, Ethnicity & Health and captured their discussions visually — bringing their messages to life through our graphic recording. Check out our graphic recording to see what was discussed.

It was such a joy to capture the 2024 IABC Victoria Deb Ganderton Oration last week, delivered by Joe Calafiore from WorkSafe Victoria.

His insights on the power of communication in systemic change projects were a nice reminder of the crucial role communication plays in amplifying—or sinking—an initiative. Always inspiring to hear about the importance of curiosity, authenticity, and action in campaigns. A big thank-you to IABC Victoria for organising this inspiring event and to Joe for sharing such impactful stories and strategies.

We recently partnered with City of Casey to create an important explainer video focused on child safety and protection. This initiative reflects the council's dedication to ensuring a safe environment for all children.

Our goal was to demonstrate how visual storytelling can be used to both raise awareness and educate the public about child abuse, as well as clear guidance on how to report any concerns.

Thank you to the amazing people and organisations who dedicate their time and lives to ensuring a safer future for our kids!
