This has got to be the greatest marketing campaign for live events I have ever seen.

As a live music touring professional there is nothing worse than a sea of phones on for the entire gig especially when we look through the lens to give you live footage.

Well done Heineken for bringing the crowds attention back to the stage and the artist these people are spending their own money on to watch on their phones.

Wow what a week!

Saturday - The 50th Victoria Cup at Melton Entertainment Park for the team at Harness Racing Victoria

Monday - Tuesday completing my tour obligations along the amazing team at Entech Roadshow with Julius Grafton in Melbourne

Tuesday - Thursday with The Event Assembly and the awesome Jessica Riches and Helen Drummond with the delivery of the 2024 Golf Summit.

Then Wednesday - Thursday supporting Creative Productions, Dave Jackson, Chris Dalton, James Harling and the tribe with the delivery of A R Rahman at Rod Laver Arena

What a way to complete a solid week.

est. 2003 as a full technical production and project business. The longest established brand and still is the centre of the group.

established initially as a collective services brand to support my closest event team as they established themselves as independent contractors in the greater market and to ensure a seamless and unified offering. Has since developed into a more creative content business offering studio, broadcast and content development and ex*****on.

Is where we support our clients with the best local team to deliver all facets of video for live and broadcast servicing without being distracted by the additional production tasks.

After seeing the market be serviced by Agencies that focus on Show crews, Stage Managers, Producers, Audio specialist and Lighting Specialist we decided to take all we had learnt and then network we had built nothing Austrlaianand Globally to offer a Video and vision centric Agency. We have the gear and the people and can standardise locally to ensure consistency.

I’m sure all my event industry alumni have all had a chance to be involved in an event that truly is inspiring and world changing.

Making an impact but in a different way.

I personally have been inspired by my family, my strong independent wife and our children as they develop into amazing, creative, passionate, strong individuals and our family is stronger due to them being who they are.

My event family is rich and varied, they are creative, passionate and a special breed, I learn from them all and value the lessons we share in together.

Over my career I’ve toured with established and evolving entertainers locally and globally.

Have produced and production managed major corporate events as small as an informal training environment for many clients to live and virtual meetings for the Asian Development Bank in Fiji and on the WWW and created festival style corporate events on the shores of lakes for multi national corporates.

But to have a chance to truly make a difference, engage with what I feel is the largest Audience engagement and on such a scale is what I spend the last quarter of 2023 engaged in.

COP28 is going to influence the world we all live in and the legacies we leave behind. As part of the Identity Middle East family we have the pleasure of delivering one of the worlds true Mega Events.

To leave my family on the other side of the world is emotionally challenging for me and must be so much more for them.

They gave me their blessings to take up this opportunity and recognise the sheer volume of what we are aiming for and what I will be a part of, for this I can not be more grateful for their love, support and strength.

Maybe we can all take a moment, reflect on what we’ve achieved, desired to be a part of or in my case be blessed to be a part of.
