We don’t normally talk about other radio stations, but today can be the exception! 😉We’d like to wish craighuggy all the best as he finishes up full time at gold1043 today after over 3 decades at the station, and many people will remember him at 3XY before that. As a passionate local immersed in his local northernfootballnetballleague footy team - and regular local listener - whenever the opportunity occurs, Huggy has always been generous with his support to help our station improve. Through the magic of radio, Craig will be on Brekky at Cruise1323 and Drive on 96fmperth from the end of April. Good luck Huggy, and if you get homesick we’re sure we can find some cans and a mic for you to use!!

Congratulations to all the nominees and winners from the City of Whittlesea Citizen of the Year Awards, which were presented at the Community Festival on Sunday - just before the rain arrived to sadly shorten the event. We especially congratulate our very own volunteer Presenter, Treasurer and Life Member Bill McGillivray who was awarded the Senior Citizen of the Year! Several decades of dedicated volunteer service to our organisation has been rightly recognised to the wider community. Congratulations Bill.
