Some progressive and positive news for and surrounding suburbs motorists who usually travel along Grimshaw Street… It has re-opened! 🚘🚙 🚌 Plenty Valley Traffic Trackers

Grimshaw Street has reopened in all directions at the North East Link Grimshaw Interchange. Trains along the Hurstbridge line will resume from Friday 31 October.

⛔ From 9pm, Friday 7 November to mid December, Grimshaw Street will be closed on the Bundoora/Watsonia North side of the Greensborough Highway, in sections between Watsonia Road/Macorna Street and Greensborough Bypass.

We'll continue to adapt our services during the next closure, and we note that bin collections may be a little later than normal (even the next day).

Good advice from our friends at SES Nillumbik. Remember to tune a battery powered radio to us in case mains power is interrupted.

Stay alert this evening as the stronger winds move through Banyule and Nillumbik. SES crews have attended many incidents this afternoon relating to trees down over roads, some involving live power lines. Just after midday we also attended a rescue in Eltham North for a vehicle roll over. Please be careful when driving mindful of hazards such as trees fallen over roads. Monitor VicEmergency for the latest warnings and updates.
