A KPI without a timeline and quantifiable target is just a metric.

Ascribing metrics to your performance is a great way to keep your eye on the prize in terms of what to track, but to make it a KPI it needs specificity.

For example, Follower count is a metric. Increase follower count by 5% by April 1 is a specific KPI.

Create KPIs for all aspects of your agency, including client satisfaction and retention, ad performance and organic presence.

How does a copywriting formula paired with cognitive bias look? Here’s just one example 👇

Let’s use the Attract, Interest, Desire, Action (AIDA) Formula and pair it with the ‘Closing the loop’ cognitive bias.

The theory here is if you open on a question, readers will keep reading until you answer the question, because they want to ‘close the loop’ in their brain. This can keep them hanging on until your CTA.

Perhaps that’s why you’re still reading this… Now re-read, and see how this copy attracted you with a question, built interest of what we were going to do, created desire of keeping your audience around for your CTA and then gave you the action of re-reading.
