What's your flavour?

We've been testing out the Australian Made Lorantz Audio 12" Alnico loudspeaker as an alternative to the classic Greenback.

Tonesetter 18 is a vintage-styled amplifier and so this Alnico loudspeaker is a perfect match providing vintage tone and texture, with the added benefit of making this an all Australian pairing 🇦🇺. The Alnico has a rich, warm tone that starts to compress at higher levels compared with the Ceramic Greenback which is brighter and has a bit more headroom.

Equally wonderful on their own, or paired up for the best of both worlds.
