Welcoming Our Republished Titles of 2025

This year has been transformative for Amba Press. We're delighted to have welcomed so many amazing Australian and New Zealand authors to our publishing family – either through authors choosing to bring their work across to us or through our acquisition of the ACER Press catalogue. ✍️

These aren't just books we've republished; they're key titles that have shaped educational practice across our region for years. From classroom strategies to leadership frameworks, these works represent the very best of evidence-based educational thinking. It's really important to us to keep the legacy of these titles going, and we're honoured to be the custodians of this work. πŸ“š

What excites us most is that so many of these authors already have new books planned for next year and beyond. We're not just preserving their legacy – we're building on it. The conversations we've had about future projects have been inspiring, and we can't wait to share what's coming. ✨

Thank you to every author who has trusted us with their life's work. Here's to the next chapter – together. πŸ’™

Introducing the Amba Press Class of 2025

What a year it's been! We're incredibly proud to present the authors who published frontlist titles with us in 2025 – a remarkable group of educators, researchers and thought leaders who are shaping the future of education. πŸ“š

We are excited to welcome this semester’s intern, Jessica Farch.

Jess is currently completing her Master of Writing and Publishing at RMIT and will be taking on the role of Publishing Coordinator.

Jess will be working on a range of tasks, including manuscript acceptance, product copy, and creating sales and marketing campaigns. She is looking forward to learning more about the publishing process and what makes a publishing house tick.

Jess’s favourite book is β€˜Strange the Dreamer’ by Laini Taylor. She particularly loves
the quote, β€˜The dream chooses the dreamer, not the other way around’. The fantastical tale of gods, heroes, and a boy with his head stuck in a book has always captured her imagination.

The power of books!

Welcome to the team, Jess.

Great day at the Mornington Peninsula Shire and Frankston Mornington Peninsula LLEN event on supporting neurodivergent children. 🌻

Andrew Fuller's keynote on Neuroadvantage was excellent - practical, warm, and had everyone engaged. The panel discussion and Q&A afterwards with Chris Varney (I CAN Network), Richard Crawshaw (Can't Face School), Emily Settree (Psychologist), a young person with lived experience, and Andrew brought valuable perspectives to the conversation. 🌻

Andrew signed books and chatted to attendees throughout the event - his book 'Neuroadvantage' has been our best-selling title this year for good reason. 🌻

We've also arranged a Family Hub for neurodivergent families with Andrew. If you'd like to join, details here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/neuroadvantage/?ref=share&mibextid=NSMWBT🌻
