What a night! A big thank you to Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM), Eliza Shephard, Richard Shaw, Mena Krstevska, Thea Rossen, Hamish Upton, Kaylie Melville and Laura Barton for assisting us with this big program, and Katia Beaugeais Composer & Saxophonist & Hakan Ulus for your guidance in performing your wonderful compositions. It's our second ANAM Fellowship Concert tomorrow (Friday 21st July 1pm, South Melbourne Town Hall), and we're delighted to present the world premiere of Peter de Jager's 'Silk Road' and Natalie Wong's 'I recount I construe', both for oboe, bassoon, piano and harp! Here's a teaser of 'Silk Road' and how Peter was inspired in approaching this commission from Ensemble Françaix.
