Suncoast Christian College students met Sir Paul McCartney at his Gold Coast concert over the weekend. 🎵🎸

They won a nationwide competition to meet the living legend and attend his soundcheck by recording a version of his song Maybe I’m Amazed. 🕺

The students had the unique opportunity to share a few moments with the former Beatle, exchanging stories and inspiration with one of the world's greatest songwriters. 💃

Jacob Weiner, Piano Player and Vocalist in the winning group, beamed with joy: "The entire day was like a dream, I couldn’t believe we got to meet such a huge musical legend. Sir Paul McCartney is my ultimate lifelong musical hero, and it was the opportunity of a lifetime!” 🐞

The is probably my most used mic and here’s why:
1) It sounds great on pretty much anything you put in front of it.
2) It’s affordable.
3) It only picks up what’s directly in front of it. Meaning if your surroundings are not million dollar studio quiet it won’t record the echos of your room or the computer fan noise, or the dogs barking next door. 👌

This plug in literally saves me hours on every production. Particularly when I’m working on pop music where I have at least 16 separate vocal tracks.

There’s the lead vocal, then the doubles, then the harms, then the BVs, then the adlibs….

I load up the lead vocal as the track I align with and then let the plug in do it’s thing. 😁

I’m so incredibly honoured to have won the NAB junior talent search at Gympie Music Muster this year. It was such an amazing experience and I’m so unbelievably star struck by the incredibly talented people that I got to meet and share the stage with. I’m still pinching myself about singing “Boy Next Door” on the main stage right before Dan Davidson, you can’t convince me I’m not dreaming!!! Congratulations to Denvah Music and Briana Dinsdale and to everyone who was a part of the talent search, you all rock!!! 💞🌹
