It’s been a year for laughing , learning & remembering why we need to create opportunities to come together. Building resilience, strength and cultural pride.

We really need to highlight a few organisations and people who went above and beyond to make sure our carnival got off the ground.

ATSICHS Mackay Ltdand BMA for their major sponsorship. Mackay Netball Association - MNAfor their guidance and courts. Latoya Latimer Catering , Netball Queensland and Gove Sports for their contributions. Our volunteers who worked across the carnival making sure all the boxes were being ticked on Rahna’s list ! It was a long list!

To Bala Patrick and the beautiful dancers who had us captivated with your movements. Thank you πŸ™πŸ½ Uncle George for the Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony that allowed us to start the carnival in a respectful and culturally relevant way.

We have the link of the offical carnival photos from VeeSnap - Photographer that I will send out next week to team managers.

As for moving forward we have tentatively locked in the dates for 2024 and will confirm this early in the New Year so that you can lock it in.

On a personal note I want to thank each and everyone person who took to the courts , came to cheer and support. To my three Tiddas who jumped in when I asked them to come on this journey with me~ Veronica , Rahna and Nadine~ you have my eternal love and respect. I am a better person when I am in your presence. ❀️

Be safe these holidays and have the best and brightest Christmas πŸŽ„ with your families and friends.
